HeartCode BLS
HeartCode BLS is an online CPR/AED course given by American Heart Association. It uses a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, eSimulations, animations, self-directed learning, and interactive activities to teach students BLS knowledge and skills.
After completing the online portion, students attend a structured BLS Hands-On Session with a CMT Instructor. This session focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussions of local protocols, and skills testing. Students must provide CMT with documentation from the online course prior to the hands-on session. The online portion must be completed through the American Heart Association. Instructions are provided in the HeartCode BLS section of the Pricing page on this website. Upon successful completion of the course, student will be certified by the American Heart Association in CPR/AED.
